📦 Bins
The Bins module keeps track of the bin and location context selected on documents so that other Advanced Inventory features can react consistently. It is especially useful when you want availability insights, navigation links, and Trading Hub integrations to honour the exact warehouse bin that the user is working with.
What it does
- Stores the currently selected bin and location while you browse through document lines.
- Reapplies the remembered bin when calculating availability.
- Enables quick jumps to Bin Contents directly from sales, purchase, transfer, and production document lines.
- Exposes zone details in availability previews when bins and zones are in use.
Bin and Zone Stock Fields
When the Bin Support module is enabled and a document line has a bin code assigned, two additional inventory fields become available:
Bin Stock
Displays the current stock quantity for the specific bin assigned to the document line.
- Calculation: Based on warehouse entries for the specific bin
- Visibility: Appears only when a bin code is present on the line
Zone Stock
Displays the total stock quantity across all bins within the same zone as the assigned bin.
- Drill-Down: Click the field to view detailed bin contents for all bins in the zone
- Calculation: Aggregates inventory from all bins belonging to the zone
- Visibility: Appears only when a bin code is present and the bin belongs to a zone

Getting started
- Open N24I Modules factbox from the Advanced Inventory Setup.
- Enable the 📦 Bins module.
- Refresh the page once prompted so that the new actions become visible.
Tips
- If you change the bin or location on a line, the module automatically refreshes the stored context.
- Clearing a document line or selecting an empty bin resets the remembered values.
- When the module is disabled, availability is calculated without bins and bin-specific shortcuts disappear.
