📦 Multi-Company Inventory Settings

Additional Settings

On the BC:N24I | Settings - Advanced Inventory page in the 📦 Multi-Company Inventory module section, additional configuration options are available that affect the module's operation.

Adding Companies for Sharing

  1. Open the N24I | Advanced Inventory Setup page and find the 📦 MultiCompany Items section. alt text

  2. Ensure that the appropriate rule is selected for the Item Qty. Calc. Rule field.

    • The default rule MULTICOMPANY ITEMS calculates availability considering reserved quantities
    • This field must be filled for the functionality to work correctly

  3. Go to the Companies to Load table

  4. Add companies from which you want to receive inventory information

  5. For each company that should share inventory:

    • Click on Companies to Load, then Edit Location Sharing
    • For each location that should share inventory, enable the Allow Item Sharing checkbox

Troubleshooting

If inventory from other companies is not visible, check:

  1. Whether the item calculation rule is set
  2. Whether the company is added to the sharing list
  3. Whether locations in the source company have sharing enabled
  4. Whether the other company has the same item numbers
