Information about Assigned Lot/Serial
Warehouse receipt and shipment lines will be highlighted in color depending on the assignment status of the lot:
- green - when they have assigned tracking lines that fully cover the required Quantity to Ship or Quantity to Receive,
- red - when there is no lot/serial assigned, and according to the tracking settings, there should be,
- yellow - when a lot/serial is assigned but does not fully cover the requirement from Quantity to Ship or Quantity to Receive.
Examples and Scenarios
Scenario: Identifying shipment lines without assigned lots
Need: A warehouse worker is preparing a warehouse shipment with 20 lines. They need to quickly see which lines don't yet have a lot number assigned before starting the pick.
How it works:
- Open the Warehouse Shipment with lines to fulfill.
- Lines highlighted in red have no lot/serial assigned — they require attention.
- Yellow lines have a partially assigned lot (e.g., 5 pcs assigned, but 10 pcs to ship).
- Green lines have full coverage — they are ready to fulfill.
Result: The warehouse worker immediately sees which positions need attention. No need to open item tracking for each line individually — colors provide instant readiness information.
Tip
This feature is especially useful in warehouses with many lines per shipment — instead of checking 50 lines one by one, a quick glance at the colors is enough.
