Updating Data in Related Pick/Put-away Lines

Changing the fields Quantity to Handle, Lot No., Serial No. in Pick and Put-away lines in Receive/Place lines will update the related Receive/Place lines.

Zeroing Quantity to Handle in Picks and Put-aways

In N24 Core Extension Setup., the option to enable Zeroing Quantity to Handle in Picks and Put-aways has been added. Enabling this option will zero the Quantity to Handle:

  • when inserting new pick/put-away lines,
  • after partially registering a pick/put-away.

Changing Shipment Date Along with Posting Date of Warehouse Documents

An extension to the Change Posting Date of Warehouse Documents functionality. The shipment date updates together with the posting date on the warehouse document. This functionality can be enabled in N24 Core Extension Setup.

Quantity Initialization Method in Warehouse Documents

In N24 Core Extension Setup, the Whse. Document Qty. Init Method field has been added, which controls how the Qty. to Ship / Qty. to Receive field is populated when creating warehouse shipment and receipt lines from source documents (e.g., sales orders, purchase orders, transfer orders).

Available options:

  • Enter Qty. to Ship/Receive (default) — standard system behavior, the quantity is copied from the outstanding quantity.
  • Zero Qty. to Ship/Receive — the quantity is set to zero when creating lines, provided the location does not have the Require Pick option enabled (for shipments) or Require Put-away option enabled (for receipts). The warehouse worker must manually enter the quantity before posting the document.

This applies only to locations without the require pick/put-away setting, because in such cases the Qty. to Ship/Receive field is always populated with the outstanding quantity on the warehouse document.

Blocking Sales Invoice Posting from Warehouse Documents

In N24 Core Extension Setup., the option to disable the posting of a sales invoice during the posting of warehouse documents has been added. This allows for the completion of a sales shipment while blocking the posting of the sales invoice by the warehouse worker.

Changing Posting Date of Warehouse Documents

When posting warehouse shipment and receipt documents, if the Posting Date is different from the set work date, the system will ask the user if they want to update the warehouse documents and post them with the work date.
