Examples

The following examples assume the direction of re-posting from 4 to 5.

Using dimensions and mandatory additional posting

Posting a cost to G/L account 403-010 using dimensions and mandatory additional cost posting (note that when using dimensions to map the re-posting, the dimension code must be specified as mandatory in account 403-010)

• Settings in the posting account card

• Settings for additional cost posting

If we specify the value of dimension in the document:

• DZIAŁ_1, then additional posting will be performed on accounts 501-100 (according to the settings in Additional Cost Posting Setup) | 490-100 (according to the settings in General Ledger Setup).
• DZIAŁ_2, then the additional posting will be made to accounts 502-000 (as above) | 490-100 (as above).
• other than listed above, then posting will not be performed because we have not defined the settings for additional cost posting for this dimension - an error message will be displayed

Use the appropriate dimension or complete the settings.

Cost posting by setting without using dimensions

Posting cost to G/L account 403-010 without using dimensions and with cost posting according to settings

• Settings in the posting account card

• Settings for additional cost posting

If we specify account 403-010 in the document, then additional posting will be done on accounts 550-002 (according to the settings in Additional Cost Posting Setup) | 490-100 (according to the settings in General Ledger Setup).

If in Additional Cost Posting Setup we remove the first item that defines the settings for Cost Type: TYP_1, the posting will be performed, but the additional posting will be skipped.

Posting using substitute additional counter account

• Settings in the posting account card

• Settings for additional cost posting

If you specify the account 300-010 in the document, the additional posting will be made to accounts 490-100 | 750-010.
