Tolerance Control — Setup

Center-level tolerance rules balance operational flexibility with quality control and reduce costly production deviations.

⚙️ Configuration

Configuration of tolerance control is available in the Tolerance Control Setup page. You can configure the following parameters:

Type - Specifies the resource type (Work Center or Machine Center)
No. - Resource number
Tolerance Control Method - Choice of control method:
- By produced quantity
- By routing time
Tolerance Percentage - Specifies allowed percentage of excess (0-100%)

Tolerance control can be configured in the following places:

On the work center card, there is a Tolerance Control action that opens tolerance control settings for that work center.

Similar to work centers, tolerance control settings are accessible through the machine center card.
