GlobKurier Integration

The GlobKurier integration allows creating courier orders via an intermediary offering access to many carriers in one place. It lets you compare prices and delivery times before final service selection – without logging into multiple portals.


Why GlobKurier?

Key benefits from the integration:

  • Broad list of supported carriers (one panel – many courier companies).
  • Ability to compare offers (price, delivery type, delivery time) before ordering.
  • Standardised process – the same wizard across different couriers.
  • Automatic status retrieval and tracking inside Business Central.
  • Support for add‑ons (insurance, COD, drop-off/pick-up points, time windows).

Prerequisites

You need an active GlobKurier account and login credentials (e-mail, password).


Configuration

  1. Open page: TMS | Setup.
  2. In section 🔗 External Integrations locate GlobKurier.
  3. Choose server type (Test / Production).
  4. Enter account e-mail and password.
  5. Click Test Connection to confirm the credentials are valid.
Tip

If the environment is Sandbox – only use the test server to avoid real orders.


Ordering Process

A new order can be started from a sales document, warehouse shipment, or directly from the list of courier orders. Generic wizard description: Ordering a Courier.

Main wizard stages:

  1. Address data (shipper, recipient, addresses, contact details, etc.).
  2. Package (dimensions, weight, quantity). Note: GlobKurier supports only ONE package line.
  3. Product (list of carriers / services fitting the parameters).
  4. Add‑ons (insurance, COD, notifications, additional services).
  5. Additional required fields (Courier instructions, reference number, contents).
  6. Summary and submission.

Status & Tracking

Shipment status is fetched from GlobKurier and synchronised according to settings. A detailed route view with date, location and event description is available.


Add‑ons (Additional Services)

Depending on the product the following may be available:

  • Shipment insurance
  • COD (Cash on Delivery)
  • Delivery to / from a point
  • Delivery time windows
  • Return option

The list of add‑ons is dynamic – the system shows only options supported for the chosen carrier and service type.


Common Issues

Problem Solution
Authorisation error Check e-mail / password and API server type. Verify account is active. Test mode becomes active the day after account creation.
No services after search Reduce number of parcels / weight / check dimensions. Ensure destination address is valid.
No label after creation Verify the order was properly paid / accepted on GlobKurier side.
Status not updating Run manual update action.
