Raben Address Mapping

Raben identifies the sender, recipient, and collection location using address codes received from the carrier. Complete the mapping before creating your first order so that the wizard can fill in the correct addresses automatically.

🗺️ Open Address Mapping

  1. Open TMS | Setup.
  2. In the 🔗 Integration: Raben section, select Address Mapping.
  3. On Raben Address Mapping, add an entry for every address for which Raben assigned an external code. You can use Excel.

🏢 Set an Address Code

For each line on Raben Address Mapping, complete:

  • Address Type — select Customer, Ship-to Address, or Location,
  • Source No. — the customer number or location code,
  • Ship-to Customer Code — the delivery address code when Ship-to Address is selected,
  • External Code — the address code received from Raben.

If the customer does not use an alternative ship-to address, select Customer and enter its number in Source No.. If the customer has several ship-to addresses, select Ship-to Address, then complete the customer number and ship-to customer code.

For a collection location, select Location and enter the warehouse location code in Source No..

📍 Set the Sender Code

In 🔗 Integration: Raben, complete Sender Code with the value received from Raben. Do not replace it with a Business Central customer number or location code.

🔎 Check Mapping in the Wizard

In the Addresses step of the Raben Transport Order Wizard, check Raben Address Code for the sender, collection location, and recipient. If the recipient or collection-location code is blank, return to Raben Address Mapping and complete the missing entry.

Note

If the collection location differs from the sender address, select Collection Address Differs from Sender Address and choose Location Code in the wizard. The address and Raben code are then retrieved separately.

➡️ Next Step

Prepare package mapping before you start creating an order.
