Packaging Instructions

Check packaging instructions on document lines to prepare goods according to requirements stored for the item or its assembly BOM components.

⚠️ Check the Instruction

On a sales order or warehouse shipment, the system shows the ⚠️ Special Packaging Required section. The section is shown automatically when at least one line has a packaging instruction.

1. Open the document for the shipment you are preparing.
2. Read the content in ⚠️ Special Packaging Required.
3. Select the instruction text to open its full version.

The system considers instructions for the item and assembly BOM components. Longer text is shortened on the document, but you can select it to see the complete instruction.

📦 Apply During Picking and Packing

Follow the instructions before handing the package over for collection. The information is visible without opening item cards for every line, reducing the chance of missing packaging requirements during warehouse work.
