🚚 Shipping Agent Service Catalog
Introduction
The Shipping Agent Service Catalog module lets you define net and gross prices for shipping agent services and assign vendors to shipping agents. This way, when creating a transport cost, the system automatically retrieves the price from the catalog.
The module is available in the following areas:
- Shipping Agents
- Shipping Agent Services
How It Works
Shipping Agent Service Prices
On the Shipping Agent Services page, additional columns appear:

| Net Price | Net price for the shipping agent service |
| Gross Price | Gross price for the shipping agent service |
Prices are available on the standard Shipping Agent Services page and allow you to maintain a transport price list directly in Business Central.
Linking a Shipping Agent to a Vendor
On the Shipping Agents page, a Vendor No. field appears. Assigning a vendor to a shipping agent allows:
- Automatic shipping agent recognition when matching purchase invoices
- Filtering transport costs by shipping agent based on the vendor from the invoice
Transport Cost Type on Shipping Agent
On the Shipping Agents and Shipping Agent Services pages, the following fields appear:

| Transport Cost Type | Sales line type — G/L Account, Item, Resource, Fixed Asset, or Charge (Item) |
| Transport Cost Type No. | The specific account, item, or resource representing the transport cost |
Settings at the Shipping Agent Service level take priority over settings at the Shipping Agent level. If a service has no assigned type — the system takes it from the shipping agent.
How to Enable
The module does not require separate activation — the additional fields on the Shipping Agents and Shipping Agent Services pages are available immediately after installing N24 Transport Costs.
How to Configure
- Go to Search → type Shipping Agents.
- Open a shipping agent card.
- Fill in the Vendor No. field (link to vendor).
- Fill in Transport Cost Type and Transport Cost Type No..
- Go to Shipping Agent Services and fill in the Net Price and Gross Price for each service.
