The report card shows the status, cash register, report number, opening and closing dates, currency, turnover, opening balance, closing balance, and responsibility center.

Report Lines

Report lines contain posted KP/KW documents assigned to the report.

✍️ How Report Creation Works

Step 1 — Select a Cash Register

The system assigns the register from User Setup or opens the register selection window.

Step 2 — Set the Opening Balance

The system sets the opening balance to the closing balance of the previous closed report for the register.

Step 3 — Add Documents

KP/KW documents are assigned automatically during posting. You do not need to add report lines manually.

🔒 Closing a Cash Report

  1. On the report card, select Close.
  2. Enter the closing date.
  3. The system validates the date.
  4. After confirmation, the report changes to Closed and the closing balance is calculated and saved.

Important

Before closing a foreign-currency report, run Adjust Exchange Rates from the Cash Register List. This creates exchange-rate difference entries and aligns the report balance with the register balance.

🔓 Reopening a Closed Report

  1. On the closed report card, select Reopen.
  2. The system checks whether another report for the register is open.
  3. If no other report is open, the report returns to Open and accepts documents again.

🚫 Validations
