Cost Type
The page groups accounts by cost type so that the system can apply the correct mapping during posting.
⚙️ Define cost types
Values specified on the Cost Type page group accounts, for example group 4 accounts. Assign accounts to types in G/L Account Settings.
📋 Fields on the page
| Field | Description |

| Code | The user-defined cost type. Accounts assigned to the type can be re-posted to the account defined in Additional Cost Posting Setup. |
| Description | Shows the description of the cost type line. |
| Qty. G/L Account | Shows the number of accounts assigned to the selected cost type. |
