Production Module Setup
The following settings are located on the ShopFloor Setup page.
- Force to always insert Runtime from ShopFloor - if enabled, the unit time inserted into the journal will be forced and will always remain the same as from ShopFloor. Business Central will not recalculate the unit time on its own
- Disable skip filter - disables the skip filter for API, which will make records with the "Skip in ShopFloor" option visible in the API
Production Order Closing Section
- Check Prod. Output Entries - system checks if there are unposted entries before closing a production order. This prevents accidental closing of an order with unprocessed data
- Check Prod. Order Sessions - system checks if there are active sessions in ShopFloor before closing a production order. This prevents accidental closing of an order when operators are still working on it in the mobile application
Production Section
- Enable Multiday Journal Entries - automatic creation of separate journal entries for each day when a production entry spans more than one day
- Skip Short Output Entries - enables the function of skipping accidental production entries
- Minimum Processing Time - specifies the minimum time threshold for production entries, below which new production entries will be skipped. This helps filter out accidental entries
- Default Status for New Entries - default status for newly created production entries when ShopFloor doesn't send its own status. This status determines the processing state of the entry in the system
Auto-fill Lot No. - method of automatically populating the Lot No. field in production entries. Available options:
- None – feature disabled; the lot number is not automatically filled and must be provided by the Power Apps application.
- As Production Order No. – (previous/default behavior) the system automatically sets the Lot No. field to the Production Order No.. This number is then transferred to the Production Journal as tracking lines, ensuring full traceability of production batches.
- From Production Order – if a lot number has been specified on the production order line in Business Central, the system will automatically assign that lot number to the ShopFloor entry during import.
- Default Prod. Order Routing Line Operation - specifies the default operation number to be used for new production orders. This option is particularly useful when most registrations concern the same operation in the production process
Consumption Section
- Default Consumption Status - default status for consumption entries
Detailed Production Entries
- Output Details Enabled - activation of detailed production entries function. They allow detailing production registration with information about individual employees involved in order execution. This functionality enables tracking individual employee performance.
- Group Output Detail Entries - groups detailed production entries during import to journal to optimize the number of entries. This is particularly useful with a large number of registrations, as it reduces system load and simplifies posting.
- Skip Posting qty. for Employees - skip posting quantities for employees
