Production Employee Assignment — Setup

Configure device-to-resource assignments to secure registration, simplify workforce governance and support accurate operational reporting.

⚙️ Configuration

To properly configure the assignment:

  1. Define employees as appropriate production resources (work centers/machine centers/resources)
  2. Open the Production Line Employees page
  3. Create a new record for each device-resource connection:
    • Select device identifier (tablet)
    • Specify production resource type
    • Indicate resource number (work center/machine center representing employee or machine)
  4. Optionally complete additional device information

🔧 Additional Settings

The following settings are located on the Shop Floor Setup page.

  • Require PIN - determines whether PIN should be required for production employees
  • Require Unique PIN - determines whether PIN should be unique for production employees (available only when "Require PIN" is enabled)
