Skip in ShopFloor
The shop floor skip feature allows users to mark specific documents/lines in the production process to be skipped in the ShopFloor. This functionality is available at various levels of the production process.
Where to Set Skip Option
Skip can be enabled in the following places:
Production Orders
- Released production orders (card/list)
- Firm planned production orders (card/list)
- Planned production orders (card/list)
- Simulated production orders (card/list)
- Production order list (all orders)
Production Order Elements
- Production order lines
- Production order routing
- Production order components
Master Data
- Routing lines
- Production BOM lines
How Skip Works
- When you enable the skip option on a document, documents/lines will not be considered in the ShopFloor.
- Skipping at the production order level automatically sets the skip flag on all related order lines, routings, and components.
- Skipping at the production order line level automatically sets the skip flag on all related routings and components for that line.
- In master data (Routing lines, Production BOM lines), setting skip affects newly created production orders - the value is transferred during order creation.
Bulk Skip Management
The system allows bulk setting of skip for selected records. Each list has available actions:
- Skip in ShopFloor - marks selected records as skipped
- Don't Skip in ShopFloor - removes skip marking for selected records
To use the bulk function:
- Select records you want to update (you can select multiple records at once)
- Choose the appropriate action from Actions → Functions menu
- The system will automatically update all selected records
Related Settings
On the ShopFloor Setup page, the following option is available:
- Disable skip filter - disables the skip filter for API, which will make records with the "Skip in ShopFloor" option visible in the API. By default, the API filters and does not show skipped records.
